SCHOLARSHIPS
The PIA Western Alliance in conjunction with the National
Alliance grants a set of scholarships for Idaho, Oregon, and
Washington for each program every year. The selection of the
scholarships recipient is made by the CIC and CISR Advisory
Committees on the basis of the following information:
- The nominee will be a full-time insurance professional who
has been in the insurance business for at least two years;
or is a licensed agent, broker, or solicitor; or a full time
insurance faculty member of an accredited college or university.
- The nominee should demonstrate an interest in and commitment
to professional continuing education.
- The nominee may not now, nor ever have been a CIC or CISR. In addition, the nominee may not have previously been awarded a scholarship for the class they wish to attend, CIC or CISR.
